Overview
Grand Wailea engaged its general contractor to renovate the two-story, 44,000-square-foot Spa Grande, and ELCCO delivered the electrical scope — a complete distribution replacement of eleven new panels, power and controls for the spa equipment, and telecommunications infrastructure throughout.
The renovation was congested and schedule-driven, with multiple trades working the same space at once. ELCCO built a detailed BIM model integrating existing and new equipment, used Trimble layout to support the contractor’s field work, and scaled crews with overtime as the deadline compressed.
The result: the spa was completed within the owner’s schedule, and ELCCO earned recognition as the general contractor’s preferred electrical partner.
