Overview
Big-Box Power, Delivered on a Retail Clock
The general contractor came to Maui to build its 24th ground-up Lowe’s — a 101,000-square-foot store on a schedule where the electrical work sets the pace. ELCCO delivered the complete electrical, fire alarm, and telecommunications scope as the project’s electrical subcontractor.
The pressure point was manpower. ELCCO staffed the job through heavy concurrent demand, staged materials for uninterrupted install, and kept tight communication between the project manager and site foreman — coordinating with owner vendors, MECO, and the other trades as changes rolled in.
The store was energized, commissioned, and turned over ahead of the milestone and completion dates, under budget, with 1,000 hours of change-order work absorbed along the way — and a recommendation letter from the general contractor.
